Inserting a link free of charge
Here you can place a link to your own or any website. First page will show 10 links, second page will show 20 links and third page 70 links. Links are listed according to when they were submitted on a first-come-first-serve basis, i.e. whoever enters their link first will get a better placement. As soon as one hundred links have been placed it will no longer be possible to enter any further links free of charge. You are, however, able to add a link or obtain a more convenient position for your link by payment or by referral to our website.
Better placement in exchange for a link
Providing you place a link to any website or a blog on www.100-idiots.com and then send me the address of that website, your link will get moved ahead of the ones entered in for free. A link to two websites will secure a better position than a link to just one website. Links entered into chats, or chats relating to various articles etc. do not count! Only one link to one website can be entered per month. Should you enter more than one, the others will not be taken into account. The following month you can add another link to the same website, which shall be added to the total sum but only providing the original link has not been removed. The total of link placements is is only significant in cases when a draw between link additions occurs. Link must be legible to search engines otherwise it does not qualify. Links leading to sites other than www.100-idiots.com will not qualify either.
Paid link placements
Providing you pay the minimum amount of 1 USD, you skip over all links placed for free as well as links that were added in exchange for a link until these links receive higher financial support than your own link. Should a link receive 1.05 USD it will gain a better position then the one, which has only obtained 1 Euro (USD). You can send money to any link and thereby move it to a better position, providing the funds donated to that particular link are high enough.
The position of links on the page is determined on the first day of every month and remains fixed for the remainder. Links are ordered according to the total amount of funds each of them received in the preceeding month. In case of a tie (two or more links with equivalent contributions), links are ordered according to the date they were entered into the system.
In case there is a hundred or more paid for links submitted per one calendar month, the least funded links are going to be placed at the very end of the third page as unnumbered.
Payment
Payments can be carried out using Paypal, Moneybookers or via a bank transfer. When making a payment, use your link's address as a reference of your payment to the payee. You can also fill out your payment details using the form provided on our site. Should you carry out a payment towards the end of month, please be aware, that the link you are sending your funds to might reflect the payment by earning a better position in the following month.
Link format
Links will only be placed on web in a format of a main address leading to the homepage of the website (i.e. http://www.100-idiots.com). Please note only one link per domain can be placed (not applicable to hostings such as geocities.com).
Prohibited links
Links with erotic or gambling contents, or links leading to morally or legally unsound or offending websites will not be placed on http://www.100-idiots.com. Same restrictions apply to links leading to websites, which are penalized by search engines or websites making references to any offending contents. Our website will be checked during our monthly updates. It could, however, happen that unacceptable website gets overlooked or the contents of the target page change after the regular check up. I would be most grateful if you could in this case inform me, and the offending website will be removed immediately, and link order adjusted accordingly even during the month.
General provisions
In case you send money to a link that will not get listed, I shall forward this amount to charity. Providing you are not sure whether your link is going to get listed, please feel free to forward any query via the form available. Should you wish to contribute to charity, please forward your money directly to them. Do not do so via our website as we are not the middleman for this particular cause ;)
Placing a link is not enforceable and only we decide about the placement. Providing a link entered as ‘placement for referral’ and ‘paid for placements’ does not comply with the rules it will be regarded as a free link.
Under no circumstances we give money back.
We do not provide information on amount of funds necessary in order to secure a particular placement.
In case an error is caused by our part we provide appropriate amendment for the link placement. We shall not include, support nor favour any of our own websites. We do not believe anyone placing a link on our website is an idiot. The title 100-idiots.com was chosen purely because it is easy to remember and this particular domain was available. Proposals for link placements can be sent to us by anybody from around the world and we shall not and will not investigate their reasons for this.
Links including or excluding www (http://www.100-idiots.com and http://100-idiots.com) will be assessed as one link and in final effect merged.
